Abstract

A new method for the separation of long products (pipes) has been developed. The essence of the method is the potential energy of deformation of parts and equipment drive is spent on useful work – applying a stress concentrator in one working stroke. The equipment of static action operates in dynamic mode, which ensures high quality of the obtained blanks. The possibility of preliminary static load, in combination with a high deformation rate, allows you to create a stress state diagram at the box office, which provides the necessary geometric accuracy and workpiece quality. A method for breaking rolled products has been developed, in which the zone of tensile stress increases due to the zone of compression stress. It allows you to create a load diagram, which is organically inherent in a uniform stress state. In this case, the crack path is stabilized and the quality of the workpieces increases. A method for hydrodynamic breaking of rolled products is proposed, in which a complex stress state is created in the zone of stress concentrators. It allows for multiple breaking of the pipe into measured billets. The combined effect on the workpiece of hydrodynamic pressure and a longitudinal compression wave allows to reduce the pressure in the working chamber, simplify the design of the seal assemblies, and increases the reliability of the installation. The proposed equipment design, in which the combined use of wedge-joint and hydroelastic drives, allows to eliminate jamming and reduce the required drive power. This became possible because at the moment of separation, the force from the side of the wedge-hinged mechanism with a concave wedge is maximum and further decreases along the wedge. This reduces the amount of harmful energy unloading equipment. The efficiency and reliability of the equipment in creases. The use of static-dynamic load allows you to improve the quality of the workpieces, due to the creation in the rental of the optimal circuit stress state.
