Up-to-date approach to estimation of technology of sheet articles processing by pressure

The method of quality estimation for sheet articles at stages of manufacturing preparation and finishing, also functional dependencies of quality indices versus geometrical dimensions of articles is suggested.
The method of quantitative estimation of article top view shape complexity based on approaches of planimetry. Correlation of values obtained with experimental values of labor-contents is observed for manufacturing of circular articles and articles with complex shape. For complex estimation of article shape complexity it is suggested to implement following coordinate system: ration of top view sectional arears, ratio of article side dimensions and degree of flange non-flatness. Complex estimation of article complexity is determined as modulus of vector with projections on mentioned axes.
To estimate complexity of box-shape article it is proposed to use value of local drawing index which is well-corelated with experimental value of conditional scale of quality index through article depth.
Such approach allows to select quality indices at the stage of article design. For the stage of manufacturing hierarchical complex of properties is selected to estimate quality of manufactured products. It is shown that to increase quality of manufacturing that defines market competitiveness one has to use methodology of functionally-oriented technologies. Fundamentals for implementation of such methodology are shown.
