Abstract

Based on the assessment of the role and place of special-purpose cold-rolled pipes, which are the most accurate and high-quality products of pipe production, the tasks and directions of further development of equipment for cold rolling of pipes are formulated. The possibility of solving these problems is shown not only by developing new equipment, but also by upgrading existing ones using basic parts and components of the KhPR mill. Variants of roll stands providing the expansion of the technological capabilities of the KhPR mills are given; a fragment of experimental studies showing the need for fundamental changes in the functioning of the mechanisms of the machine unit; comparative analysis of the mechanisms for the interaction of mechanisms. It is shown that stabilization of unstable or elimination of critical conditions of the power line systems of cold rolling pipe rolling mills (KhPR), whose mechanisms operate under conditions of increased dynamic loads, is mainly aimed at reducing the dynamics of the system to an acceptable level. Active mechanical relationships have been established in the initial dynamic model of the KHTR mill, which determine the manifestation of pronounced parametric processes in the system under study. The analysis of the causes of parametric oscillations in the systems is carried out on the example of the selected model of the power line of the KhTPR mill.  The zones of dynamic instability of the functioning of the mechanical system are identified according to the Ains – Strett diagram, which allows the selection of passive rolling modes at the design stage of technological processes. An active control system is proposed for the main drive of the KhTPR 15-30 mill based on its mathematical model and the parameters of the active control actions of the automated tracking control system of the KhTPR 15-30 mill are determined. The upgraded main drive of the KhTPR 15-30 mill can be equipped with both an alignment device based on twin flywheels and an active balancing system, which allows the initial mechanical system to be transferred in the tracking mode to the region of desired states.
