An analytical review of publications in which the processes of reverse cold extrusion of hollow products with distribution is considered. Since the use of the extrusion scheme with a movable matrix (the direction of movement of the matrix coincides with the direction of movement of the punch) can reduce the specific stress up to 30 % but there is no data on the ratio of speeds of the matrix and punch. The main directions of research for this scheme were to determine the patterns of influence of the speed of movement of the matrix and the punch. The article presents the results of numerical experiments using the finite element method in the DEFORM 3D software package to study the process of cold back extrusion of hollow products with distribution. The power regimes are determined theoretically and the regularities of temperature distribution in the workpiece volume are obtained. The dependence of the maximum temperature on the speed of the working tool (punch and die) is determined theoretically, the influence of the ratio of punch and die speeds on the workpiece temperature is considered. It is established that the increase in the speed of the punch leads to a significant increase in the temperature of the final product, the material flows intensively into the wall of the product.
